21st ANNUAL FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL RIDE (FFMR) SUNDAY MAY 25, 2025
The FFMR made donations to the survivor families of the following three Fallen Ohio Firefighters from calendar year 2024 during our May 25th Ceremony :
Madison Fire- Lt Alan Van Kramer Last Alarm 1/3/24
Painesville Fire-Lt Amanda Karduck Last Alarm 6/26/24
Cleveland Fire- FF Shawn Calvey Last Alarm 7/30/24
The following were the five winners of the $1000 scholarships funded by the FFMR.
1) Olivia Halliwell attending Ehove Career Center
2) Norah Sgro attending Ohio University
3) Reese Gabram attending University of Tennessee / ROTC Program
4)Richard Jason Lewis ( RJ ) attending Akron University
5)Amelia Ross attending Bowling Green State University
Five hundred (500) plus motorcyclist registered for this years Firefighters Memorial Ride that concluded at South East Harley Davidson (2025 FMR Sponsor) for food and friendship.
Registrations are available for the COPS RIDE on Sunday August 10th honoring Cleveland Officer Jamieson Ritter and Euclid Office Jacob Derbin. If you register on or before July 12th we will include COPS RIDE FREE TEE Shirt honoring the names of Ohio Fallen Officers from 2024.
