MEMORIAL RIDE

Ceremony 10:30 AM
Ride Begins at 11:00 AM

Motorcycles will begin to stage at 9 AM on Alfred Lerner Way. Forty mile police escorted ride will conclude at Southeast Harley Davidson for food and entertainment. Presale tickets will be available at the 29th ANNUAL CYCLE WORLD INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE SHOW

Saturday, January 30th, 9:00am - 9:00pm
Sunday, January 31st, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Tickets will also be available at Cleveland Harley Davidson, Lake Erie Harley Davidson, Western Reserve Harley Davidson, Century Harley Davidson and A&S Cycle beginning April 1st.

Since its inception, the Firefighters Memorial Ride, LLC has made the following donations totaling more than $36,000.

  • The Western Reserve Fire Museum
  • The 87th Street Fire Victims Fund (Cleveland's largest residential fire fatality, May 21, 2005)
  • Family of Wellington Firefighter "Buzz" Anderson who died in the line of duty June 22, 2006
  • Family of Sharon Twp Firefighter Jeff Murray who died in the line of duty February 13, 2007
  • Family of Cleveland Hts Police Officer Jason West, who died in the line of duty May 26, 2007
  • The Charleston Firefighters Fund, in memory of "The Charleston 9" who died in the line of duty June 18, 2007
  • Family of former Chester Township Fire Chief and Beachwood Firefighter Ed Hanzel, who died in Iraq while working for a fire protection contractor on December 31, 2007
  • Cleveland Firefighter Lucious Thomas, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2008
  • Cleveland Police Officer Derek Owens, who died in the line of duty March 1, 2008
  • The Colerain Township Firefighters Memorial Fund, in memory of Captain Broxterman and Firefighter Schira who died in the line of duty April 4, 2008
  • Family of Twinsburg Police Officer Joshua Miktarian, who died in the line of duty July 13, 2008
  • Tickets purchased for a fundraiser benefitting the family of Cleveland Firefighter Kenneth "Mike" Alderman, who died July 19, 2008
  • Family of Gary L. Studer - Whitehouse Ohio Fire Department, who died in the line of duty June 28, 2008
  • Family of Richard L. Kear- Pitt Township Volunteer Fire Dept., Harpster Ohio, who died in the line of duty July 7, 2008
  • Family of Greg Northup- Gallipolis Ohio Fire Department, who died in the line of duty September 3, 2008
  • Family of Michael J. Darrington- Toledo Ohio Fire and Rescue, who died in the line of duty February 27, 2009
